A new kind of Turn-Based Experience

In Startical you will command Space fleets in a new kind of turn based tactical game. Each action will have to be waged against if you want to achieve victory.

Discover a rich combat system with many ships and powerful weapons and abilities, and live a meaningful story in the  universe of Startical.

Dynamic Turn-Based 

Compared to most of the current Turn based games around, Startical brings you a very different system where each action will determine when you will play again.

Each  Action you will take will consume a certain amount of Energy, placing your ship more or less advantageous for the next action. Calculating your optimal action might be of a challengge, because you don't know what the ennemy will play.

A wide range of ships and equipments to customize your  Fleet

Startical brings you with different ship classes, models, equipments and weapons for you to create the fleet you need.

Different Ship Classes with each their own set of parameters, possible equipments and weapons. Finding the right balance and make your Ships live through.

Fight in a  dynamic Campaign

Embark as a Terran Alliance Fleet commander and cleanse Pirates from your sector. You will have to manage your fleet repairs and supply as well as which missions seems more important to you.

Managing your credits and the growing Pirate infestation will be a challenging task. You will have to make choices in order to reach total victory.

Upgrade your Base, and prevail both tactically and economically.

The Startical World

In 2070, as the space conquest was expanding at a dramatic stance, the cliveage between the Terran  and the industrial space companies reached a state of war. During 4 long years, the war raged on resulting in with terrible casualties in both sides.

In 2049, wilst no winner could be designed, a peace treaty was finally adopted, and by so defining two major blocks. The Inhabitants of Earth assembled under one flag, the Terran Empire, led by a charismatic leader, Alona.

The Industrial pionners regrouped under the Space Confederation, in a political system where the richest would have the power.

During the war, both sides hired mercenaries and free fighters to help them carry out sabotage and disruptive missions. At the end of the war, these crews became unemployed from one day to another. They the decided to regroup under a notorious corsair : Benjamin Hurst and founded the Privateers republic.

Factions

The Terran Alliance

The Terrans lost a lot during the space war, and the reconstruction, is directed under a common military guideline. Private property is no more and all Factory owners have to fulfill the guidelines of the Emperor Alona.

Terran fleets are often composed of sturdy ships.  The lack of space technology compared to the Space Confederation is compensated by undiscutable bravery and unity amlongst the Terran Crews.

The Space Confederation

The lack of resources at their disposal at the start of the war made these industrial giants spend tremendeous amounts of money into R&D. 

They nowadays have the most advanced weapon and ship technologies. This is compensated by their numbers, inferior to the Terran Empire.

The Privateers Republic

Privateers often sail a very heteroclit fleet. Integrating some advanced techs from the Space Confederation. 

Their engineers deploy an ingenious set of skill to modify their ships and bring devastating close range attacks.
